Liability for lost or damaged film is limited to the cost of the services provided.

You can submit film through local drop-off, schedule a pick up, or mail-in service. Complete the intake form before sending your film so we can correctly match your order.

7 - 14 business. Every process will be communicated through email from receiving your order, when it is being process, then to it being scanned and finally your link to your deliverables.
Scanning only negatives take 2-5 business days.

All color film is processed in a Refrema dip and dunk machine and B&W is being processed in the Colenta RoboLine 9T. This is all handled through our external processing partner to ensure your negatives are developed to the highest quality.
Note: We partner with a professional lab for developing, and LASCANSFILM handle all scanning and quality control ourselves in-house

Payment is due when your order is submitted. Payment is required before processing begins. An invoice will be sent once you get your order confirmation.

Yes, if you plan on shipping and returning your negatives we provide shipping label. Additional cost may apply.
Note: While we provide prepaid shipping labels, we are not liable for packages lost or damaged during transit. If a shipment is lost, we will assist with the carrier's claims process. Any reimbursement is subject to the carrier's insurance coverage and claim approval.

You can either drop off your film at our 24/7 dropoff box located in Oregon Hill, RVA, you can also scedhule a meet up for us to pick up your film in Richmond or you can ship your film to us.

A few common causes for this:
- The film wasn't actually advancing through the camera when shots were taken (e.g., it wasn't caught on the take-up spool), so no frames were exposed
- The shutter didn't fire or the lens cap was left on for the roll
- The camera back was opened before the roll was fully rewound, exposing the film to light
- Some cases mechanical issue with the camera itself
Since there was nothing on the roll to scan, we're issuing a partial refund covering just the scanning portion — you'll still be charged for the development fee. -
